Ghana road works on Dome-Kwabenya–Berekuso–Kitase to resume
Construction on the 23-kilometre Dome-Kwabenya–Berekuso–Kitase road is scheduled to resume on September 24. The Ministry of Roads and Highways has issued a Commencement Authorisation Letter to the contractor to restart the project, which is currently approximately 27% complete.
Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, announced that the contractor has been granted 18 months to finish the work. The project serves as a vital link between several communities, including Kwabenya, Berekuso, Agyementi, and Kitase, providing connectivity to Peduase and Aburi. The Minister emphasized the need for full mobilization and consistent progress, warning against intermittent work patterns.
