Ghana to hold West African Senior School Certificate Exam for 509,862 candidates

Ghana’s Ministry of Education has registered 509,862 students – 225,274 boys and 284,588 girls from 1,020 schools – to sit the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The exam commenced with Oral English and will continue over the scheduled period.

The ministry urged all candidates to stay calm, remain focused and avoid any malpractice during the examination, emphasizing the importance of integrity and a smooth testing process.
