Ghana to host 10,000 global church leaders for World Assemblies of God Congress
Ghana is set to host the 10th Triennial World Congress of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship from October 14 to 16, 2026. This marks the first time the country has hosted the event in the fellowship's 110-year history.
Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, has called on church leaders and members to mobilize for the event. The congress, themed ‘Commissioned: One Mandate, Every Nation’, is expected to draw approximately 10,000 pastors, ministers, and church leaders from around the world.
Main activities will be held at Black Star (Independence) Square and the Accra Sports Stadium. Daytime sessions at Independence Square, which include seminars and workshops, will require a minimal fee of GH¢100. Evening revival rallies at the Accra Sports Stadium will be free of charge.
