Ghana–Anhui Chamber donates 2,120 sports items to support grassroots games

The Ghana–Anhui Chamber of Commerce and Industry has donated 2,120 sports items to support Ghana’s grassroots sports development. The donation was presented to the National Sports Authority’s Resource Mobilisation and Partnership Committee (RMPC) during a ceremony in Accra.

The contribution includes 600 pairs of footwear, such as canvas sneakers and casual shoes, and 1,520 Peace T-shirts in various adult unisex sizes. This initiative aims to support the nationwide Constituency Games, a platform designed to provide structured sporting opportunities to every community and create pathways for talent identification and development.

Samson Deen, Chairman of the RMPC, described the donation as an investment in Ghana’s youth and the government’s ‘Reset Ghana Sports Agenda’. He emphasized that the Constituency Games seek to ensure that economic circumstances or location do not prevent children from participating in sports.
