Ghanaian forwards Mawuli Wayo, Rudolf Mensah join Egyptian side El Qanah

Ghanaian striker Mawuli Wayo, who scored nine goals in 31 league matches for Hearts of Oak, is set to complete a move to newly promoted Egyptian Premier League club El Qanah after the two sides reached an agreement. The transfer is expected to be finalised this week pending paperwork.

In a separate deal, 24‑year‑old forward Rudolf Junior Nana Mensah, who netted 27 goals in 21 games to help Swedru All Blacks win promotion to Ghana’s Premier League, has also joined El Qanah as a free agent. Mensah arrived in Egypt and will be officially confirmed in the coming days. Both players are being recruited to bolster El Qanah’s attack as the club aims to survive its first season back in the top flight.
