Ghanaian officials present investment vision at Washington summit

Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry Sampson Ahi is delivering a keynote address on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama at the Africa Business Investment Summit (ABIS) 2026 in Washington, D.C.

The summit, organized by the Millennium Excellence Foundation under the patronage of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, serves as a platform to promote African investment opportunities and strengthen global economic partnerships. The address aims to highlight Ghana’s growing investment landscape and the continent's broader economic potential to attract foreign investment.

Participants at the two-day event include policymakers, business leaders, and international investors. Discussions focus on critical sectors such as trade, finance, energy, agriculture, mining, tourism, and infrastructure development, with the goal of bridging the gap between the public and private sectors to accelerate economic transformation across Africa.
