Ghanaian woman arrested in Kwadaso after ghost‑disguise break‑in

Nana Akua, a TikTok personality known as “Mama Gee” or “Akua Sikapa,” was arrested in the Kwadasi Municipality of Ghana's Ashanti Region after she broke into the home of her late friend, Mrs Osei Bonsu. Dressed in a white cloth covering her head and body, she entered the deceased’s bedroom and was seen removing clothing from the wardrobe. Akua told neighbours the spirit of her friend was haunting her and that a fetish priest advised her to take the clothes for a ritual.

Residents initially thought they were witnessing a ghost, but when a video captured the figure they shouted “thief, thief” and confronted her. Police took her into custody and said investigations are ongoing to determine motive and whether she acted alone. Community members are demanding a thorough probe.
