Ghanaian woman granted bail in tailor death investigation
A kenkey seller has been granted bail following her arraignment in connection with the death of 52-year-old tailor Felix Amanor. Amanor’s body was discovered on July 5, 2026, by the roadside near Dominion City at Pantoase in the Eastern Region.
According to police investigations, the suspect allegedly claimed that Amanor collapsed and died during an intimate encounter. She reportedly moved his body to the roadside out of fear that her estranged husband would discover the affair. Investigators used contact tracing to identify the suspect after Amanor was last seen alive on July 4.
Police recovered the deceased’s clothes and shop keys near the site where his body was found. The case file has been forwarded to the Attorney-General’s Office for legal advice regarding potential charges. Amanor, who resided at Blue Street near Adweso, is survived by a wife and two children.
