Gharbia Governor approves updated urban boundary plans
Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati, the Governor of Gharbia, has approved updated detailed plans for urban boundaries in several villages. This move is intended to facilitate the process of obtaining building permits through local administrative units.
The updated plans cover numerous villages within the centers and cities of Tanta, Mahalla, Kafr El-Zayat, and El Santa. These include areas such as Saft Turab, Shubra Malakan, Shentana Ayash, and several others. The new maps are designed to clearly define organizational lines and urban masses, which will support regulated construction and the implementation of public utilities and services.
Governor Abdel Moati emphasized that these measures aim to empower citizens to complete construction procedures legally and organized. He instructed local units to expedite necessary actions and begin receiving citizen requests according to established regulations. The governor also noted that the ongoing updates aim to maintain urban discipline, protect agricultural land, and provide a clear framework for urban expansion and service delivery.
