Ghaziabad man rams car into three people at petrol pump after parking dispute

A driver in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly rammed a car into three people at a petrol pump following a dispute over parking. The incident occurred late Sunday night near Silver City on GT Road in the Kotwali area.

According to police reports, a petrol pump worker, Manoj Kumar, requested that the driver, identified as Deepu, reposition his Maruti Swift to allow for proper refueling. The driver, who was reportedly intoxicated, allegedly accelerated while turning, striking Manoj and two customers, Sanjesh Kumar and Vikash Kumar. CCTV footage captured the impact, which was severe enough to throw one victim several feet into the air.

The victims were transported to a district hospital, with Manoj Kumar later transferred to GS Medical College in Pilkhuwa due to the severity of his injuries. The collision also damaged two diesel dispensing machines. Police have arrested Deepu and seized the vehicle. An FIR has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for charges including rash driving and endangering human life.
