Ghaziabad: Seven-year-old girl attacked by stray dogs in residential society

A seven-year-old girl was attacked by a group of three to four stray dogs inside the Star Rameshwaram Society in the Raj Nagar Extension area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. CCTV footage captured the incident, showing the animals surrounding the child as she walked through the residential complex. A nearby woman intervened to drive the dogs away, allowing the girl to escape, though she sustained multiple injuries and required hospital treatment.

Residents of the complex have expressed growing concern regarding the presence of stray dogs in the area. They reported that similar biting incidents have occurred previously and noted that complaints made to the Municipal Corporation have not yet resulted in an effective long-term solution. The community is now demanding immediate safety measures to address the stray animal population within the residential premises.
