Gheorghe Cosma, founder of Cotta International, passes away

Gheorghe Cosma, a prominent businessman and founder of Cotta International, has passed away. His death has drawn tributes from both his family and the regional business community in Arad, Romania.

Cosma was a significant figure in the local furniture industry, specializing in upholstered furniture and sofas through Cotta International. Beyond his primary business, he was involved in several other local projects, including Maxi Marc, GEMI, and Hotel Aniroc. The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Arad issued a condolence message, noting that his professional legacy remains a valuable asset to the Arad economic community.

His grandson, former top scorer George Țucudean, shared the news on social media, describing Cosma as an unconditional support for the family and an example to follow. Cosma was also recognized as an Honorary Citizen of Arad.
