Gheorghe Mustea to embark on national concert tour in Moldova

Composer and academician Gheorghe Mustea will participate in a national cultural tour titled ‘Înspre oameni, prin muzică’ (Towards people, through music) to celebrate his 75th anniversary. The tour, scheduled from November 6 to November 28, 2026, will visit eight different localities across Moldova.

The initiative, organized by baritone Sergiu Garabajii, aims to bring academic and indigenous musical creation to communities outside of major artistic centers. The program will feature musical performances and dialogues with the public, allowing attendees to hear Mustea’s compositions and interact with the composer directly.

Performing artists include soprano Tatiana Costiuc, mezzo-soprano Taisia Caraman, baritone Sergiu Garabajii, pianist Vitali Gavrouc, and light music performer Ionela Condrea. The tour will include stops in Lipnic, Soroca, Bălți, Telenești, Ialoveni, and other regions.
