GHMC accelerates ₹1,090 crore steel flyover project in Hyderabad

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is accelerating work on a ₹1,090 crore six-lane steel flyover corridor in Jubilee Hills. The 4.3-km bidirectional project is intended to run from the Jubilee Hills Checkpost to the NFCL Junction to reduce traffic congestion and provide signal-free movement.

During a recent inspection, GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan directed officials to expedite junction improvements at the KBR Park Main Entrance, Agrasen Junction, and Jubilee Hills Checkpost to ensure seamless one-way traffic flow. Additionally, officials were instructed to begin geotechnical investigations from Mugdha Junction to NFCL Junction and accelerate foundation excavation and off-site steel fabrication.
