Ghost in the Shell anime releases new promotional video and single

A special promotional video has been released for the latest anime series, ‘THE GHOST IN THE SHELL’, featuring the new image song ‘po-ai feat. Mirai Moriyama’. The video was directed by MOKOCHAN, the series director.

The featured track, ‘po-ai’, was written, composed, and arranged by music director Taisei Iwasaki. Vocals are provided by actor and dancer Mirai Moriyama. The song’s themes of physicality and the relationship between technology and the human body were intended to align with the series' core concepts.

The digital single was released alongside the promotional video. The track previously served as the ending theme for overseas screenings, including the series’ world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France. The anime is currently broadcasting on the Kansai TV and Fuji TV networks in Japan.
