Gia Lai City Trail 2026 attracts thousands of runners

The Gia Lai City Trail 2026 competition, held from October 30 to November 1, drew approximately 3,500 domestic and international athletes. The event featured five different race distances: 6km, 12km, 30km, 50km, and 70km.

The longest and most difficult distance, the 70km race, involved 290 participants who navigated eight consecutive mountains and deep forest terrain. The 50km and 30km races saw 300 and 850 participants, respectively. These routes traversed various landscapes, including the Bien Ho area, Ngo Son fields, and century-old pine forests.

On November 1, shorter distances were held, including the 6km and 12km races. In the men's 6km category, Dao Quy Khoa secured first place with a time of 25 minutes 59 seconds, narrowly defeating runner Nguyen Xuan Dat. The event provided participants with opportunities to experience the natural scenery and culture of the Central Highlands region.
