Gia Lai Department of Education orders personnel adjustments in Quy Nhon Nam schools

The Gia Lai Department of Education and Training has identified errors in the personnel arrangement of educational institutions in Quy Nhon Nam ward following a merger of 13 schools into six. An inspection revealed that five former principals were reassigned as teachers instead of being appointed as vice-principals, which contradicts provincial guidelines.

According to provincial directive 10275/UBND-NC, principals who do not meet the criteria for a new principal position should be appointed as vice-principals unless they voluntarily request to step down. The Department has requested the Quy Nhon Nam People's Committee to review and adjust the staffing plan for three specific individuals: Mac Hoan To Quyen, Cao Thi Hong Nghia, and Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha, to ensure they are assigned vice-principal roles.

In contrast, two former principals, Ho Thi Hong Tam and Nguyen An Vinh, expressed their desire to transition to teaching roles rather than holding vice-principal positions. The Department also called for a review of responsibilities among the collectives and individuals involved in the initial misallocation.
