Gia Lai driver fined for red-light violation reported via VNeTraffic app

Traffic police in Gia Lai province have penalized a driver for running a red light following a report submitted by a citizen via the VNeTraffic application. The violation occurred at the intersection of Pham Van Dong and Tran Quang Dieu in Thong Nhat ward.

After receiving the video evidence provided through the app, the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 verified the incident. The driver admitted to the violation, matching the provided documentation. As a result, the driver was fined 19 million VND and received a 4-point deduction on their driver's license. The Vietnam Traffic Police Department has encouraged citizens to continue using the VNeTraffic app and other official social media channels to report traffic safety violations.
