Gia Lai village gains internet access via Starlink

O2 village in Vinh Son commune, Gia Lai province, has successfully established internet connectivity via Starlink satellite technology. This development marks the resolution of the final signal dead zone in the province, providing high-altitude residents with access to digital services and information.

Due to the difficult mountainous terrain, equipment and generators had to be transported through hazardous forest paths with assistance from local villagers. The Gia Lai Department of Science and Technology completed the installation of the Starlink terminal on September 25. The village, consisting of approximately 57 households and 200 residents, previously faced significant communication barriers due to unstable electricity and a lack of telecommunications coverage.
