Gia Lai officials disciplined for personal history declaration violations

The Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has disciplined two military commanders from border communes for violating Party regulations regarding the declaration of personal and family political histories.

Senior Colonel Pham Thanh Tung, Commander of the Military Command in Ia Puch commune, received a reprimand. Major Pham Van Tuan, Commander of the Military Command in Ia Chia commune, received a warning.

The investigation concluded that both individuals violated regulations concerning what Party members are prohibited from doing, as well as rules regarding power control and the prevention of corruption and negativity in personnel work. The Commission noted that these violations negatively impacted the reputation of the individuals, the Party organization, and their respective agencies.
