Gia Lai provides scholarships to orphaned and disadvantaged students

In Gia Lai province, the Association for Support of Persons with Disabilities and Protection of Children organized a scholarship program for 18 orphaned students and students facing significant hardships. The initiative, supported by the Sunflower Group, provided total funding of 175 million VND.

Scholarship amounts were tiered based on educational level: primary and secondary students received 7.5 million VND per academic year, high school students received 10 million VND, and college or university students received between 10 and 15 million VND.

Additionally, the Vietnam Fund for Disabled Children, in coordination with the Gia Lai Department of Education and Training, awarded 78 'Cactus Flower' scholarships to children with disabilities in the region.
