Gia Lai Province accelerates Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway construction

Gia Lai Province Chairman Pham Anh Tuan has inspected the progress of Component 2 of the Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway project. This 68 km section involves a total investment of 27,576 billion VND.

Regarding the Mang Yang Tunnel, the Chairman instructed contractors to accelerate preparations, including opening service roads and mobilizing equipment, with the goal of reaching the tunnel entrance and beginning drilling within one month.

As of September 25, approximately 72% of the required land for site clearance has been handed over, covering 414.55 hectares. Compensation payments totaling 731 billion VND out of 960 billion VND have been completed. In the Hra commune area, land handover has reached 90%, while in Dak Po commune, it stands at 78%. Construction packages are currently being implemented in areas where land has already been cleared.
