Gia Lai Province Chairman Pham Anh Tuan Calls for Cutting Administrative Procedures to Boost Business

At a conference on 7 August 2026, Pham Anh Tuan, chairman of the Gia Lai People’s Committee, urged the provincial administration to streamline and shorten bureaucratic procedures to help businesses launch projects and sustain two‑digit economic growth. He highlighted that the province’s industrial output rose 1.66% in July and that 67 projects with a total investment of VND 22,455 billion have begun operating, including nine new industrial plants in July worth VND 13,355 billion.

Tuan warned that slow administrative processing remains a major bottleneck and called for faster handling of permits and stronger accountability from officials. He stressed that removing these “points of congestion” is essential for maintaining the province’s growth trajectory and attracting further investment under the revised 2021‑2030 development plan.
