Gia Lai province seeks public opinion on establishing five new wards

The Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has issued a directive to collect public opinions from all households in five communes—Phu My, Tay Son, Tuy Phuoc, Chu Se, and An Nhon Tay—regarding a proposal to establish new wards in 2026.

The consultation process must be completed by September 22, 2026, ensuring transparency and objectivity. Residents will be provided with survey forms to review the draft proposal, which includes details on the proposed ward boundaries based on existing area and population, administrative standards, and relevant state policies.

To ensure accuracy, the collection and counting of votes must be witnessed by at least two reputable, literate household representatives. If 50% or more of the total households in a commune approve the proposal, the local People's Committee will be responsible for coordinating with the Department of Home Affairs to finalize the necessary documentation.
