Gia Lai stabbing leaves one woman dead and one man injured

A fatal stabbing occurred on the evening of October 3 in a rental room located on Le Loi Street in Tay Son commune, Gia Lai province. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Tran Minh Hieu, reportedly arrived at the residence to speak with 27-year-old N. T. B. D.

Upon finding a man, D. T. S., present in the room, a conflict arose between the parties. Hieu briefly left the scene to retrieve a knife before returning to the room and attacking both individuals. The victim, D., succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital. The second victim, S., sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.

Following the attack, Hieu surrendered to the Tay Son commune police. Local authorities and specialized units from the Gia Lai Provincial Police have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
