Giada De Laurentiis addresses Dancing With the Stars rumors

Chef Giada De Laurentiis and her Dancing With the Stars partner, Alan Bersten, have addressed rumors regarding tension during their time on the show’s 35th season. Bersten dismissed claims of a rift, stating they had “nothing but love for each other” and attributing rehearsal friction to the high pressure and time constraints of the competition.

De Laurentiis described herself as a “perfectionist” during the process, noting that her frustration stemmed from a desire to perform well for her partner and daughter. The pair was eliminated following a salsa performance.

Separately, reports have surfaced alleging that De Laurentiis’s longtime partner, producer Shane Farley, exerted excessive control over the production of the show. Sources claimed Farley acted as a manager and publicist, attempting to oversee aspects of the series beyond his professional role.
