Giada Folcia crowned Miss Universe Italy 2026

Giada Folcia, a 36-year-old model from Monza, has been crowned Miss Universe Italy 2026. The national final took place at Villa Cafiero in San Ferdinando di Puglia, following a week of activities and selections in the Puglia region.

Folcia competed against 21 other contestants. Her victory earns her the opportunity to represent Italy at the Miss Universe global finals, which are scheduled to be held in Puerto Rico.

Beyond the fashion aspect of the competition, Folcia emphasized her commitment to social causes. She intends to use her platform to advocate for women's rights, specifically focusing on raising awareness against violence against women, as well as supporting vulnerable children and those undergoing long-term hospitalizations.
