Gian Maria Volonté Film School opens 2026/29 applications

The Gian Maria Volonté Film School has released its call for applications for the 2026/29 three-year training program. Managed by the Fondazione Film Commission di Roma e del Lazio for the Lazio Region, the program offers free tuition for young people aged 18 to 29 who are residents or domiciled in Lazio.

The curriculum includes eleven professional specializations: Directing, Screenwriting, Production Organization, Acting, Cinematography, Set Design, Costume Design, Sound Recording, Sound Editing, Film Editing, and VFX Design. Students will participate in annual short film productions and have opportunities for internships within the audiovisual industry. Applications must be submitted via the online form by October 15, 2026.
