Giancarlo Antognoni evaluates Franco Mastantuono and Nico Paz

Giancarlo Antognoni has shared his assessment of young talents Franco Mastantuono and Nico Paz. While noting that Mastantuono shows ‘small traces of Messi’ due to his offensive drive, dribbling, and acceleration, Antognoni cautioned against making heavy comparisons to the legendary player.

Antognoni described Mastantuono as a special player with a strong personality who has successfully handled the responsibilities of playing for Fiorentina. Regarding Nico Paz, the former Fiorentina star noted that he sees reflections of his own playing style in the midfielder, specifically praising Paz’s completeness, running ability, and the power of his shots.
