Gianluigi Buffon names Neymar as the best player of his career

Former Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has named Neymar as the best player he has encountered during his nearly three-decade career. Despite having played against icons such as Zinédine Zidane, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo, Buffon selected the Brazilian forward as his top choice.

Speaking to Corriere della Sera, Buffon praised both the talent and character of Neymar, whom he played with at Paris Saint-Germain. He stated that Neymar “would have deserved to win five Ballon d'Or awards,” highlighting the player's exceptional skill level.
