Gianluigi Donnarumma potentially switches from Adidas to Mizuno

Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma may be transitioning away from Adidas following sightings of him training in Mizuno football boots. The 27-year-old was observed wearing Mizuno Morelia Neo 4 ‘Bright Gold’ boots during international duty, suggesting a potential shift in his sponsorship status.

Evidence indicates that Donnarumma’s overarching contract with Adidas has likely expired. In addition to the change in footwear, he has also stopped using Adidas goalkeeper gloves, opting instead for products from Reusch.

A formal move to Mizuno would represent a significant acquisition for the Japanese brand as it continues to expand its presence in elite European football, joining a roster of ambassadors that includes players such as João Félix, Sergio Ramos, and Mason Mount.
