Gianna Nannini performs sold-out symphonic show in Berlin

Italian rock singer Gianna Nannini performed a sold-out concert at the Waldbühne in Berlin on September 19, 2026, marking her return to the venue 38 years after her 1988 performance. The event celebrated her 50-year career, titled ‘GiannaGold’.

The two-hour symphonic rock show featured the 70-member Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, directed by Martin Šanda, alongside her band. The setlist included career classics such as ‘America’, ‘I maschi’, and ‘Fotoromanza’, as well as acoustic performances of ‘Notti senza cuore’ and ‘Ragazzo dell’Europa’. She also performed her new single, ‘Meraviglioso errore’, co-written with Brunori Sas and Dimartino.

Nannini described the performance as a way to ‘consecrate European music’ and noted her connection to Berlin. This concert serves as a precursor to her upcoming ‘GiannaGold – Celebration Tour’, which is scheduled to begin in Italy in March 2027 and continue across Europe.
