Gianna Tam performs Latin-inspired hits at ZOJazz Stage

Singer, percussionist, and drummer Gianna Tam performed at the ZOJazz Stage in Amsterdam Zuidoost. During a live broadcast on JammFM, Tam discussed her musical background and her band, La Banda.

Her album, ‘Latina Empire’, features Latin-influenced arrangements of well-known tracks by artists such as Michael Jackson, The Weeknd, Janelle Monáe, and Sergio Mendes. Tam, who began playing drums at age eight, aims to maintain the recognizability of the original songs while providing them with a unique sound.
