Gianni Alemanno backs Roberto Vannacci’s Futuro Nazionale party

Gianni Alemanno, the former Italian Minister of Agriculture, is actively supporting Futuro Nazionale, a new political movement led by General Roberto Vannacci. Alemanno claims the party is breaking the political monopoly held by Giorgia Meloni and Matteo Salvini, asserting that the movement is seeing significant growth, including an estimated 150,000 members nationwide.

In the Bologna region, Alemanno suggests the party is gaining traction and could achieve double-digit results in upcoming elections. He warns that the center-right's refusal to engage with these emerging radical and social right-wing factions risks handing political control to the left.

The movement represents a resurgence of various identity-based and social right-wing groups that operate outside the current government's perimeter. While Alemanno is working to build the party's territorial structure, he has stated he intends to provide political analysis and experience rather than seeking candidacy himself.
