Giannini and Pomante release Italian cozy crime novel

Authors Viviana Giannini and Annalisa Pomante have released ‘Le insolite vicende di Eva Quaranta’, a new work of Italian social mystery published under the Edizioni Tabula Fati imprint. The book is described as a ‘cozy crime’ series, focusing on psychological enigmas and human fragility rather than violence or bloodshed.

The narrative follows Eva Quaranta, a charismatic and wealthy interior designer based in Rome. Through three long stories—‘Metamorfosi’, ‘La vita degli altri’, and ‘Per tutta la vita’—the book explores themes of identity, loneliness, and the persistence of memory. Quaranta uses her professional eye for detail to uncover the hidden lives and secrets of her clients, ranging from a cardiologist with a secret hobby to a tech genius struggling with social isolation.
