Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo completed his move from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Miami Heat in early July, ending a 13‑year stint with the Bucks. He entered the Heat’s facilities, met teammates and switched his jersey number from 34 to 7 for the upcoming season.

His wife, Mariah Antetokounmpo, marked the occasion on Instagram with a short video set to Will Smith’s song “Miami” and the caption “Hey Miami,” signalling the family’s support for the relocation.

Italian forward Simone Fondetio praised the acquisition, saying Giannis has put Miami back on the NBA map and that he hopes to help the team succeed.
