Giannis Antetokounmpo trade talks stall; Bucks demand superstar asset

The Milwaukee Bucks have reiterated that they have not received any offer that meets their valuation of two‑time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. ESPN reported that Miami Heat remains the most aggressive suitor, proposing a package that includes Tyler Herro, two young prospects, a 2026 first‑round pick and future draft assets. However, the Bucks consider those pieces solid but not “super‑premium,” and insist on a young, proven star rather than depth.

Separately, CBS Sports analyst Sam Quinn listed the Cleveland Cavaliers as a lower‑ranked, “mystery” candidate in the trade market. Quinn placed Miami Heat as the top favorite to acquire Giannis, with the Boston Celtics as the second‑most likely destination. The Cavaliers would need to part with Evan Mobley to make a deal, but the odds of that materializing appear slim.
