Giannis Antetokounmpo traded to Miami Heat as Bucks finalize deal

Giannis Antetokounmpo was dealt by the Milwaukee Bucks to the Miami Heat in a multi‑player trade that also sent Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, five first‑round picks and a future pick to Milwaukee. The Heat received the former NBA MVP in exchange for a package meant to give the Bucks depth, youth and future assets.

Following the announcement, a group of Bucks supporters created a makeshift tribute mural in Milwaukee, covering the player's former graffiti with jerseys, flowers and memorabilia. Antetokounmpo acknowledged the gesture on social media, replying humorously, “Guys, I’m still alive.” The move ends his eight‑year stint with Milwaukee, where he helped the franchise win its first championship, and begins a new chapter with the Heat.
