Memos Begnis discusses views on marriage and personal space

Actor Memos Begnis shared his perspectives on interpersonal relationships and the institution of marriage during a recent television appearance on ERT’s “Kalimera eipame;”. Speaking with journalist Konstantinos Arka, Begnis expressed a strong opposition to marriage, describing it as an outdated institution that risks altering the dynamic of love.

Begnis also addressed his stance on cohabitation, stating that he prefers maintaining personal autonomy and separate living spaces. He emphasized the importance of individual space, noting that while he enjoys intimacy during romantic periods, he prefers to return to his own home to maintain his independence. He further remarked that he does not view a romantic relationship as the center of his existence, stating, “I have never told anyone ‘you are my life’ and I don’t want anyone to tell me that.”
