Giannis Tsimitselis discusses family roots and future relocation

Greek actor Giannis Tsimitselis shared personal reflections during an interview on the program ‘Mia Ellada Parea’ with journalist Maria Kokkolaki. Discussing his roots and future plans, Tsimitselis expressed a desire to eventually leave Athens for a quieter life, citing Kastos or Halki as potential destinations. He spoke fondly of his upbringing in Mesolonghi and his connection to the village of Kryoneri.

Tsimitselis also opened up about his family life, describing his role as a father and his profound bond with his mother. He characterized his mother as a ‘heroic mother’ who raised him alone under extremely difficult and painful circumstances. While he noted that he is not a highly expressive person, he emphasized that his mother remains everything to him.
