Giant Group establishes new Spanish subsidiary in Girona

Taiwanese manufacturer Giant Group has established a new Spanish subsidiary, Giant Bicycle Spain SL, based in Girona. The company was formed with an initial share capital of one million euros.

The new entity, which lists Giant Europe BV as its sole shareholder, will focus on the commercialization of bicycles, components, accessories, and related equipment. The move aims to strengthen the manufacturer's direct presence within Girona, a major European cycling hub that hosts numerous distributors, professional teams, and industry services.

The board of directors for the new subsidiary includes Chin Keng Chai, Chiao Li Pan, and Han Ni Huang. Cherry Pan also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Giant Manufacturing Co. Ltd.

This expansion comes as the Giant Group navigates a market recovery. After reporting a 15.5 percent decrease in revenue in 2025, the group saw a 5.8 percent year-on-year increase in revenue during the second quarter of 2026.
