Giant introduces 2025 Escape Disc 3 trekking bike
Giant has introduced the 2025 Escape Disc 3, a trekking and fitness bicycle designed for commuting and long-distance touring. The model features an ALUXX-Grade aluminum frame paired with a high-strength steel rigid fork.
A significant upgrade from previous rim-brake versions is the inclusion of Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors, providing improved modulation and easier maintenance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Altus 2x8 speed system, utilizing a 30/46T crankset and an 11-34T cassette to offer a wide range of gears suitable for both climbing and flat terrain.
The bike is built for versatility and comfort, equipped with 700x38C tires and an upright riding geometry. For practical utility, the frame and fork include mounting points for racks and lowrider bags, facilitating the addition of panniers for daily use.
