Giant Ojō-sama Anime Adaptation Set for January 2027

The manga series Giant Ojō‑sama, originally published by Nikumura Q (Shogakukan) since 2020, will receive an anime television adaptation. Production is being handled by Tatsunoko Production, with Hiroshi Ikehata directing the series and Katsuya Oshima serving as assistant director. Hajime Mitsuda is responsible for character design and will act as chief animation director, while Yū Satō will write the series composition and scripts. The show is slated to premiere in January 2027.

The announcement included the first promotional visual and confirmed the core creative staff, marking a concrete step forward in the project’s development. No German licensing has been announced yet, and the adaptation follows the manga’s twelve collected volumes released in Japan.
