Giant pumpkins attract attention in Allgäu

Two massive pumpkins have drawn significant attention in the Allgäu region of Germany. One specimen, grown in a greenhouse by the Frommelt family near Ottobeuren, weighs 833 kilograms. Although intended for a weighing championship in Ludwigsburg, damage to the pumpkin prevented its participation. It is currently being displayed as an attraction near Brüchlins.

A second large pumpkin, an ‘Atlantic Giant’ variety, was found at the Frank nursery in Fischen, weighing 301 kilograms.
