Giant Slayer: Fury of the Underworld launches on Nintendo Switch 2

Games Farm and Grindstone Publishing announced that the rogue‑like horde‑survival action game Giant Slayer: Fury of the Underworld will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 on 30 July 2026. The standard edition is priced at ¥3,480, while a collector’s edition costs ¥7,480 and adds extra character, world and boss content along with several armor packs.

The game, set in a dark Norse‑mythology world, lets players assume the role of a cursed hero who can call upon the powers of Thor, Freyja, Odin and other deities. Seven playable characters, six harsh realms and six world‑bosses are available at launch, with local co‑op for up to two players on a single console. Progression carries over between runs, and the Switch 2 version is fully optimized for both handheld and TV modes. Grindstone Publishing CEO Peter Nagy highlighted the portability and social‑play aspects as key strengths of the title.
