Gibraltar airport hosts exclusive luxury car exhibition

The Costa del Sol Concours d'Elegance has expanded its reach to Gibraltar, hosting a collection of approximately 70 exclusive automobiles on the runway of the Joshua Hassan International Airport. Organized by CAVËN, the event is part of the 2026 edition of the competition, which spans various locations including Marbella, Málaga, and Gibraltar.

The exhibition features high-performance and luxury vehicles across several categories, such as hypercars, post-war classics, restomods, pre-war classics, and racing vehicles. The event is an invitation-only gathering for collectors and enthusiasts. Notable participants include brands such as Bugatti and Drumelia, while Bombardier contributed by transporting a new private jet to the site for exhibition.

Beyond the automotive display, the inclusion of Gibraltar aims to promote the territory as an international destination for luxury tourism and high-quality events. The gathering is expected to stimulate local economic activity through spending on hospitality, transport, and accommodation.
