Giffoni Macedonia film festival to feature 80 films

The Giffoni Macedonia youth film festival is scheduled to take place from September 24 to 29. This year’s edition is centered around the theme ‘The Impossible Things’, focusing on the perspectives of Generation Z and Generation Alpha.

The festival aims to address the rapid technological, social, and cultural changes experienced by younger generations, offering content that respects their maturity and complex realities. The theme explores both large abstract ideas and the smaller, everyday impossibilities that young people face.

More than 400 participants have registered for the event, with approximately 30 young guests expected from Italy, Denmark, Romania, Serbia, and Kosovo. The program features over 80 feature and short films across various competitive categories, including awards for best feature, short, and animated films, as well as a category specifically for films produced by primary and secondary school students.
