Gifhorn district invests 730,000 euros in fire department equipment
The Gifhorn district fire department has received new equipment valued at approximately 730,000 euros. This investment is part of a long-term vehicle and deployment concept established by the district council in June 2024.
District Administrator Philipp Raulfs presented the equipment to District Fire Chief Jens Dieckmann. The new assets include two supply service vehicles, two crew transport vehicles, a high-performance fan, various roll containers, and equipment for the district fire brigade readiness unit. The investment aims to strengthen operational capabilities and ensure rapid, professional responses to major incidents.
