Gifhorn hosts inaugural Beer Festival in city center

Three local restaurateurs in Gifhorn—Holger Hirsch of H1, Sigrid Wiertz of Wiertz Genussvoll, and Fatih Kilic of Cappu—are collaborating to host the first Gifhorn Beer Festival. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the city center.

Supported by the Gifhorn Economic Development and City Marketing (Wista), the festival will feature live music from Creeper2, Morris Sharpe, and Ralf Wiese. Featured beverages include Wolters Oktoberfestbier, Guinness, and Gilde Helles. Organizers noted that the collaboration follows the model of the local wine festival and aims to foster community spirit through shared gastronomy.
