Gifu Prefecture promotes regional revitalization and forestry migration

Various regional development and migration initiatives are being promoted in Gifu Prefecture. A youth leadership symposium is scheduled to feature discussions on regional revitalization and national defense, with contributions from Gifu Quest regarding community engagement through gaming and a lecture by Shigeru Ishiba.

Additionally, a migration seminar titled ‘Living and Working in the Forest’ will be held in Tokyo and online. The event focuses on the forestry industry, highlighting Gifu's extensive forest coverage and supporting resources like the Gifu Prefectural Forest Culture Academy and the Mori Job Station Gifu. The seminar aims to provide insights into forestry careers and life in rural Gifu for those interested in relocating.
